The acid mist exhaust gas is purified, dehydrated and demisted by the demister, and then discharged into the atmosphere by the fan. The absorption liquid is pressurized by the water pump at the tower bottom and then sprayed down at the tower top, and then returned to the tower bottom for recycling. The purified acid mist exhaust gas meets the emission requirements of the local emission standards of Guangdong Province and is lower than the national emission standard

When the dust-containing waste gas or oil-containing waste gas passes through the spray tower body, the liquid medium, some of which are alkali solution and some of which are sulfuric acid solution, will be sprayed out at the appropriate position inside the tower body (depending on the design). If the waste gas contains acid, select alkali solution spray to neutralize the acid; if the waste gas contains alkali, select sulfuric acid solution to absorb. The specific choice of acid-base solution depends on the nature of waste gas and the situation of the enterprise. The waste gas without acid and alkali but with oil and dust can be treated by spraying the circulating water solution. When the waste gas enters from the bottom of the tower, it contacts with the spray medium sprayed from the spray tower. After the contact, the waste gas or oil pollution is wrapped by water droplets, and the water droplets that wrap the pollutants again collide with the surface area and the gravity increases. When the gravity increases, the water droplets containing pollutants fall into the bottom of the spray tower under the influence of gravity, the heavier pollutants sink into the bottom of the tower body, and the lighter pollutants float on the surface of the circulating water body

Precautions for spray tower design

1. If the waste gas contains oil and dust, it is necessary to consider whether to add filter filler or nozzle model when designing the spray tower. Improper nozzle selection will easily lead to blockage of the water system of the spray tower.

2. Select appropriate spray medium.

3. Design reasonable air flow channel and water supply mode.

4. Sewage discharge and cleaning after spraying in the spray tower.

5. Appropriate gas-liquid ratio, select the appropriate water pump through the gas-liquid ratio.

6. The flow rate of empty tower is generally designed to be 1-6 m/s. However, in the case of medium spraying and packing, the filtering wind speed can be reasonably selected according to the specific conditions of the waste gas.
