With the wide application of lithium-ion batteries in different fields, the number of used lithium-ion has increased tremendously. Recycling copper and aluminum in the used lithium batteries, iron these metals secondary use, very economic and environmental significance. However, there are certain problems in the recycling of used batteries, such as: 1 How to separate the black mass in the raw material of the battery completely?2 How to improve the purity of copper and aluminum?3 How to purify the waste dust and exhaust gas produced in the recycling process?
In order to solve these problems, the R&D team of lithium battery recycling equipment plant, after continuous exploration and research, finally solved all these problems.

1 How to separate the black mass evacuation from the battery raw material?
In the operation of lithium battery recycling equipment, the black powder is recycled in several times to ensure that the black mass in the battery raw materials is completely separated. Firstly, a part of the black powder can be separated in the airflow sorting of plastic diaphragm; then the remaining black mass is separated cleanly by two linear vibrating screens.
2 How to improve the purity of copper and aluminum?
In order to improve the purity of copper and aluminum, the raw material of the battery should be crushed first, and then the black powder and copper and aluminum foils should be separated through the airflow sorting machine. Then the material is ground, and finally high purity copper and aluminum particles are obtained through copper and aluminum specific gravity sorting respectively.
3 How to deal with the exhaust gas in operation?
Due to the waste battery recycling process, there will be odor, dust and other pollution generated. Lithium battery recycling equipment production line has spray tower, activated carbon adsorption and photo-oxidation equipment. These can purify and treat the pollution before discharge, completely achieving the recycling of used lithium batteries without secondary pollution.
